We do not require members to pay any dues to use club resources or attend events. However, individual events or activities may require a small payment. It is the goal of the club's leadership to minimize the cost of participating in Ham Radio and we due this through various forms of fundraising and donations.
We currently have a fully operational shack in the ASU Community Services Building. The building is located on Curry Road, about a 10 minute drive from the Tempe campus. We are working on a way to be able to operate the shack remotely in order to make it easier for properly licensed members to get on the air. If you would like to access the shack, please create an account or log in on this website and go to the "Shack Access" tab. Besides our shack, we also have Baofeng UV-5R handheld transceivers available to members to borrow free of charge. To request a handheld, please create an account or log in on this website and navigate to the "Handheld Request" tab. If you would like to request that the club purchase new equipment, feel free to contact us here or at a meeting.
The club generally has in person meetings monthly. Weekly on Friday at 7pm, we have a net on a local repeater, K7TMP. This repeater is easily reachable from the ASU Tempe campus and surrounding area with a handheld radio. The club also schedules group shack time. Please navigate to the "Events" tab to see our upcoming meetings and events!
Please navigate to the "donations" tab for more information on donating to the club!
Thank you for your interest in helping our club out! Please navigate to the "get involved" tab for more information on how you can get involved in the club!
